Renowned UK newspaper The Guardian have produced an interactive piece looking at LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights around the world.

Being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender being illegal in almost 80 countries (and punishable by death in at least five of them), and this piece explores the legal situation for LGBT people around sex, marriage, civil partnerships, adoption, workplace descrimination and hate crime by region, country and overall population.
