Global Conflicts 2013

By -

If you pay attention to the news then it should be no surprise that the world in 2013 can be a dangerous place, with numerous wars and conflicts all over the globe. But where are the most dangerous places? Which conflicts are considered the most serious in terms of number of deaths?

To demonstrate where in the world the major conflicts are in 2013, TYR Solutions put together this interactive infographic, which shows both the major and minor conflicts currently taking place. To define a ‘major’ conflict, TYR Solutions used the Uppsala Conflict Data Program definition (also used by the United Nations), which classifies a conflict as ‘major’ if it results in over 1,000 violent deaths each year.
